What Should I Wear to Classes?
Comfort and style are key! We recommend wearing lightweight, breathable clothing that allows for freedom of movement. Ladies, consider a skirt or dress that flows gracefully while dancing. For footwear, choose comfortable, closed-toe shoes with a smooth sole to allow for easy pivoting. If you're unsure, don't worry; we'll provide more detailed guidance during your first class.
Do I Need a Dance Partner to Join Classes?
Not at all! While salsa is often danced with a partner, you don't need to bring one to our classes. We frequently rotate partners during group lessons to help you learn to dance with different people and improve your lead/follow skills. If you prefer to dance exclusively with your partner, you're welcome to do so, but know that our classes are designed to accommodate both solo dancers and couples.
What if I Have Two Left Feet and No Dance Experience?
No worries; you're in the right place! Many of our students start with zero dance experience or claim to have "two left feet." Our classes are designed for dancers of all skill levels, including absolute beginners.
